Wooden barrel aquarium

Pioneers in our field, we constructed a wooden barrel aquarium. Patent application number 20090100645 on 20/11/09 ΟΒΙ. The invention relates to a wooden barrel consisting of staves with the hoops that hold them together and the top and bottom (heads) made glass or plastic. An advantage of this invention is that such an ancient storage space, the wooden barrel, transforms into an aquarium which is innovative and original and its placement becomes possible in places that may be deemed may not seem appropriate. The wooden barrel aquarium in accordance with this invention has the following characteristics – either one or both of the heads (bottoms) are made of either glass or plastic. The hoops that hold together the staves apart from iron can be any combination of metal or metals. At the top there is a door stopper. Externally the wood is optionally polished, varnished or covered with paraffin. Internal lighting and internal, external valves. And finally, if fitted as a table it has a functional and aesthetic pleasing appearance. Mirrors can be mounted either on the inside of the wooden barrel aquarium or to any other selected part or parts of the barrel. One of the many functions the installation of mirror or mirrors has is its ability to enlarge the space. The sizes of wooden barrels that can be used as an aquarium are of all types of volumes. As another feature of this invention the internal wooden wall of the barrel is varnished. The import and export valves are connected with the mechanics of the aquarium. Additionally there is a half barrel size that can be adopted to many other spaces, such as decorative bar furniture, decorative cafe furniture, decorative restaurant furniture, decorative tavern furniture, decorative fish tavern furniture, decorative cellar furniture and decorative winery furniture. And finally it is worth mentioning that the construction is entirely handmade in 150 work hours.
